Italicize the registered short name
Warning2Federal courts, Illinois courts, Law reviews21st and 22nd editions
The words of a registered short name carry the same face they carry in the full citation, so a name drawn from an italicized title stays italic and one drawn from plain text stays plain.1
- 1R. 4.2(b) “Hereinafter.”. Tables: R. 2.1 Typeface Conventions for Citations; B2 Typeface for Court Documents.
