Warning2Federal courts, Illinois courts21st and 22nd editions
Where a work is published by someone other than its original publisher, the publisher in the parenthetical is abbreviated the way an institutional author is — with the forms T6 and T10 print, or left in full.1
- 1R. 15.4(a)(iii) Editions not by the original publisher. Tables: R. 15.1(e) Abbreviations; R. 15.1(d) Abbreviations; T6 Case Names and Institutional Authors in Citations; T10 Geographical Terms.
- 2A warning: the form is usually wrong under the rule in note 1, and context can justify it.
